You can also ask how consent works and whether options exist to limit data use where possible. A discussion with your GP helps balance benefits, risks, and personal comfort levels.

AI can enhance efficiency and consistency, but safe healthcare relies on human judgement, continuity, and trust. Used thoughtfully, AI supports care. Used without context, it risks confusion. The goal is not replacement, but partnership—technology assisting clinicians so care remains personal, careful, and accountable.
